The automatic Diaphragm filter press is a great improvement compared with the traditional box Filter Press. The similarity between the two is that the initial way of working is basically similar. The difference is that the traditional box Filter press only relies on the feed pump to transport the material through the pressure between the fluids for extrusion and dewatering; and the Diaphragm Filter Press adds a diaphragm Filter Plate in the middle of the Filter plate, and after the air pressure or liquid pressure is delivered to the diaphragm filter plate, the whole diaphragm will bulge to both sides, and the pressure of the tympanic membrane will once again perform secondary pressing and dehydration of the filter cake. With the increase of pressure, the water involved in the material will be squeezed out after the first squeeze and dehydration, so that the filter cake achieves a lower moisture content. It is generally possible to reduce the moisture content of the filter cake to about 30%-40% (according to the pre-treatment process and material related), which also improves the solids content of the material and greatly reduces the cost of transportation.
